AT THE LAST MOMENT, I CAVED AND PUT IT ALL ON A CREDIT CARDI wanted to go on vacation SO BAD for a friend’s wedding. The idea of relaxing and hanging out with friends on a tropical island sounded exhilarating. At the same time, I remember how distraught I was about not being able to “afford it”.
I kept saying I wasn’t going to go, I wasn’t going to go and at the last moment I caved, I put it all on a credit card.
While it was amazing, I couldn’t really enjoy it fully knowing what I did. It was also one of the most painful moments of my relationship, Danny and I fought for months after about saving up everything we could to pay it back.
Thankfully, we crossed that bridge and we vowed to never put ourselves in that situation again.
Fast forward to today…
Danny and I were just talking about dropping everything and going to Hawaii for a week or two. Now, we DON’T EVEN BLINK. I have confidence that we have the money put aside in our budget for the things we care about like travel (even during Covid). It was never really about being able to “afford it”, it’s about what we prioritized.
I’m really looking forward to going on a really nice vacation hopefully soon with no worries, be happy vibes. I can hear the waves crashing, feel the sand between my toes and sun hugging me with warmth. We will be able to FULLY enjoy it.
Maybe you’ve been through a similar situation and wondering how we came out of it, you can learn in the Stressed to Blessed Budgets course + Debt Free Accelerator where I show you how to do this.

YOU CAN ACTUALLY HAVE MORE LIFE WITH A MONEY PLAN😱
P.S. I’ve been getting this question more often recently.. Can my partner come to the class too? YES, at no additional cost. It is highly encouraged. Finances are the number 1 reason why marriages end in divorces. Let’s continue breaking cycles.
