Financial boundaries

First off, having regular boundaries are HARD simply because of how they make us feel. We feel bad making a decision on something we no longer tolerate because it's an inconvenience for others. Often, our people-pleasing nature comes out and we give in to the crap we are dealt with. Then, layer the complexity of money with friends and family.... eeeekk!

I'm here to say no means NO and you don't owe anyone a broke girl explanation.

Maybe your pals asked you to go on a girls trip to Cabo at the last minute or that family member asked you to borrow money again... For whatever reason, it feels safer to back up your no with broke girl sayings (watch my latest Instagram reel and you'll know what I mean) than to hold up our boundaries without explanation. The more you say no without explanation, trust your own decisions and hold the promises you made to yourself, the easier it gets.

My Rich Aunties know about opportunity cost!

If you're new, here's the tea. When you're saying no to an opportunity, you're saying yes to something else! Remember that. What do you want to say more yes to?
